“Two-Tone Kitchens” take center stage in 2020.
As one of the most talked-about trends in 2020, two-toned kitchen cabinets are a great way to add style to your kitchen. And while all-white kitchens are not going away – this color-rich trend is a perfect way to make your space unique and personalized. Two-tone cabinets work better for larger spaces but you can add a splash of color to a small kitchen by using colorful appliances to create that dual-tone feel.
When determining what colors to select, I recommend contrasting colors for a dramatic feel, such as blue and white or black and white. A more subtle look can be created using more neutral combinations such a creamy white and dove grey or natural woods. If you are looking for a more vintage feel – incorporate colors such as mint greens, light blues, and shades of yellow.
The best way to decide what is right for you is to create a color board with all the colors in your kitchen including walls, floors, back-splash, counters, lighting, and appliances.
Here are some inspirations to help you create your dream kitchen.
